Not a product governed by a privacy policy that could change. Not a product whose safety depends on trusting its operator. A product where the architecture itself is the guarantee — where sovereignty, privacy and compliance are structural properties, not features.
Every name we considered was discarded until these two remained — not because they sounded right, but because they meant exactly what we intended.
We did not write these values after building the product. We built the product as a consequence of holding them. The difference matters: values that follow decisions can be revised. Values that precede them leave marks in the architecture.
We did not choose where to incorporate, where to host, or who to partner with based on convenience or cost. We chose based on what each jurisdiction and each organisation represents — and whether those values are consistent with the product we are building.
