What is Author Intelligence?
Author Intelligence analyses the authorship metadata of your corpus documents and cross-references each author with the term frequency data from the broader analysis. The result is a ranked map of authors by topic — showing which researchers are most associated with each analytical term, which authors bridge multiple topics, and which are isolated contributors to a single sub-field.
How it works
Gaptrium™ extracts author metadata from each PDF in your corpus. It then correlates each author's body of work within the corpus with the term frequency matrix from your Heat Map or Gap Analysis. The result is an author-by-term matrix: the denser an author's connection to a term, the more influential they are in that sub-field within your corpus. All processing is local — no metadata is transmitted.
